A Nation to Ruin – Cambodian Republic by Navy Ung-Lancaster

A Nation to Ruin is based on a true story by the author, Navy Ung-Lancaster. She is one of many who barely survived Cambodian genocide – yet one of a few remaining able to properly recount the actions and real intent behind the founders of the first Cambodian Republic back in 1970. The first half of the story stems from her direct association with her father’s influential friends and political colleagues – ministers and generals within the government – during important family outings and secluded meetings from 1969 to 1975, to which she was present.
