Dr. Emad Rahim

Dr. Emad Rahim is an award winning author, educator, entrepreneur and community leader. He currently serves as the appointed Endowed Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Oklahoma State University Visiting Scholar at Rutgers University and Dean of Business Curriculum at Strayer University. He is also a Professor at the Jack Welch Management Institute and MFP Management Fellow at University of Chicago. He writes for YFS Entrepreneurship Magazine, CEO Magazine, TweakYourBiz and several other publishing outlets. He has been invited to be a TEDx Speaker, featured in Forbes and the Huffington Post and his story was turned into a short documentary titled “Against the Odds” and adapted into the theater production “Tales From The Salt City” written and directed by celebrated playwright Ping Chong.

He formally served as the University Dean of Business at Colorado Technical University and Chief Learning Officer at Global i354 LLC. He has been invited to lecture at Cornell University, Colgate University, Syracuse University, Oklahoma State University, Cazenovia College, University of Scranton, and Queen’s University Belfast and has taught for Walden University and Kaplan University. He has multiple publications on the topics of diversity management, project management, workplace resolution, organizational development and behaviors.

He was named a 2011 Beyster Institute Scholar Fellow, Kauffman Fellow, Laureate Visiting Scholar and has been awarded the Certified Manager of the Year Award by ICPM of James Madison University, for which he was nominated by CM professional peers and chosen by the ICPM Board of Regents based on his outstanding commitment to leadership, community service, continuous professional education and organizational contributions. He received additional distinction when he was chosen among faculty across the nation as a finalist for the “CEC Educator of the Year” by Career Education Corporation, and was accepted into the AACSB post-doctoral bridge program at Freeman School of Business of Tulane University, New Orleans, L.A., MLE Harvard University post-doctoral program for senior academic leaders, both are prestigious research residency which only accepts a handful of applications each year.
