“It takes a village to raise a child.” –Traditional African Proverb
Q: What are your hopes for new moms and their children as future Khmer generations?
Sing: My hopes for new moms and their children as a future generation are: I hope that you will never lose your cultural heritage and never forget your roots and language. Most of all, what the generations before you have created, in order for you to be with some freedom here in the U.S. Also hope that you support your children emotionally, more than financially.
