Humans of Khmer America

Venerable Prenz Sa-Ngoun

“At 13-years-old I was confused and lost about my culture. Born and raised in the US, I could never understand anything about the traditions. So I became a monk–to learn how to read and write in Khmer. Most importantly to understand my culture and it’s traditions. I’ve been a monk ever since.”
