Humans of Khmer America

Aimee Lynn

My name is Aimee Lynn and I was born and raised in San Jose, CA. I recently graduated in a nursing program. I have been in the medical field for 10 years and currently working at Stanford, one of the top hospital and clinic in the United States.

In the second grade I knew I wanted to become a nurse. I grew up knowing in my heart I was going to spend my life helping others heal and grow. It has always been a lifelong passion.

Being Cambodian American, I never wanted to forget my roots so I created a non-profit to connect the gap between Cambodian Americans and Cambodia by raising funds and creating opportunities for youth and adults.

This June I will travel to Cambodia to volunteer with providing food, shelter, and medical supplies. These efforts will improve the standard of living for locals. We will develop programs to increase water accessibility to rural areas, set up mobile health clinics, and provide free education to farmers to increase productivity.
